What is the capital of your state?

The following is a full list of each of the state capitals, alongside some helpful information.

Alabama

The state capital is Montgomery. Established in 1846, it’s the 3rd largest city in the state.

Alaska

The state capital is Juneau. Established in 1906, it’s the 3rd largest city in the state.

Arizona

The state capital is Phoenix. Established in 1889, it’s the largest city in the state.

Arkansas

The state capital is Little Rock. Established in 1821, it’s the largest city in the state.

California

The state capital is Sacramento. Established in 1854, it’s the 6th largest city in the state.

Colorado

The state capital is Denver. Established in 1867, it’s the largest city in the state.

Connecticut

The state capital is Hartford. Established in 1875, it’s the 4th largest city in the state.

Delaware

Please note that residents of the District of Columbia should answer that D.C. is not a state and does not have a capital. Residents of United States territories should name the capital of the territory.
